Hello,
ECU S2000RPM in Renault Laguna 2, canclip shows error DF038, - ECU def.
I purchased second hand ECU to replace original one.

Is it possible to read with canclip the EEPROM in old ECU and write dump to next ECU (with canclip)?
Or is it possible to make new ECU IMMO-OFF with canclip?

Or I only can to replace the EEPROM chip 95080 in new ECU by original one?


Please advise .

Yes, it is so simple, swap eeprom 95080 from your original ecu to the second hand ecu and this is all.

By the way, CAN-Clip is no use in your case, it is no help at all.
Swap eeprom, 100% correct, don`t bother with Clip, it is for simple diag jobs not complicated as reprogs and stuff !

Yes, only eeprom must swap, the keycode are written to it, eeprom 95080.
The flash is for injection maps, you keep the original of your car, it`s the best.

if you have the ddt2000 renault software with simple kkl adapter you can write and change the vin number on the new ecu to your own vehicle vin.
and then do with renault clip programming of the cards again.
that the best way i think to use a renault used ecu.

DDT2000 can NOT change VIN for the ecu, it shows it, ok, calculate CRC for VIN can`t be changed.
Tested by me on many types of ecus, ( siruis32, ems3132, dcu3r, ddcr , dcm12 ...) Only manual change in eeprom, CRC calculated by DDT.
And VIN is in the eeprom, swapping it from the old ecu as we advised him keeps original VIN ( correct ) from the car.

Don't say that if you don't know with which tool i have did it.
try to use agv4000 obd diag on can.
it's works perfect for 60% of the ecus on ddt2000.
its do every thing except reprogramming and new ecus.

Hello. I have Laguna 2phII with 2.2dci 103kW engine. Can I virginize this ECU 0281012212 Bosch EDC16CP33, EEPROM 95160. I tried virgin with Volta and IMMO universal decoding LT2.0, but Immo not works.
