The difference is that newer data requires fsc-code for apps, 180 euros at dealer. No difference in options available. You can see all supported apps from "bmw connected" app, which is available at Apple App store.

Maybe there is a faster version without changing the firmware in CIC?

I've killed my cic after flashing with dcan. I tried to use this procedure to unbrick it but without success. I got the below error when trying to flash naab on 63.
