RE: Which power supply for programming
Take two at 65A
plus-plus
minus minus
 and you have a 130A
a small voltage drop is provided
-grube cables and short after 50cm copper 25mm2
-very strong żabki
I at 20A is approximately 0.2V
40A at about 0,3V
65A with a drop to 13V (from 13.5)
This Tyll as E91 N47 launch of all
all the lights, passing, traffic, directions, fog,
automatic climate control on ful windows front and rear, heated seats
radio on full only 65A
not possible to obtain such tension
I can jescze more ista D run windmill air conditioning on full
87A is about nothing more I can not in E91
Normally this e90 8A-17A (jump to 45A)
e60 15A- max25A (sometimes jump up to 45 A up to 60A)
F30 15A -25 - (like)
basically 50A is sufficient and the rest of the reserve,
Remember that the battery can not be discharged even though they are
DC power supplies and battery is only recharged
This large current consumption is sighted by IBS and will show a battery error
(For KL15)

The power supply is not the battery charger
AGM to 14.9V current 1/10 max capacity of the battery is 1 / 4akumulatora more can damage the battery, because the power supply set to a lower voltage
13.8V to 14V or safer
the latest series BMW only 14V max

RE: Which power supply for programming
Hi all.

I use this is power supply.. IBM Delta 2000W Power Supply 24R2711 24R2710 DPS-2000BB A H18657B
Must be little modify.. I put the old ups case ..
Origi parameter 12V 164A
must be soldering resistor after have 14.5V
I try test.. 120A easy working.. i test all day.. good work without problem
If car engine start.. power supply off.. must be restart the power supply..
I think very little price and very good power.

RE: Which power supply for programming
I made a few modifications to my kd175 which appear to have improved the voltage regulation slightly. At no load it runs exactly 14v, and with all loads on (e90) drops to 13.15v as read by my ICOM. I'm pretty happy with that. If anybody wants a Dell KD175, it's the same thing as the Intel AHW6UPWR. I got mine for $17 shipped.

Given that it is for my F31, I will follow the advice of Node and Pimposh even if the GYSFLASH 100-12 HV is not given (i found it for 520€). However it remains cheaper than the INC-700A imported to Europe ...

I guess both of you are in Europe or in a country that runs 220V hi as that charger runs on 230V. For those that aren't francophone, here's the direct link to that charger. For 50A, it's 375Eur, close price to the Schumacher INC-700, but not as close as to my 50Eur home made one biggrin
