ANOTHER W203 NO CRANK NO GEAR SHIFT
Hello,
I have a Mercedes w203 2001 C200 that has a starting problem, the car was driving perfect until 3weeks ago when the owner parked it when he was in hospital then 2days ago when he was back he tried to start the car but the car didn't start nothing! all lights on cluster Are on except the P R N D. and gear is stuck in P. when diagnosed only fault is CAN FAULT MESSAGE FROM ETC (ELECTRONIC TRANSMISSION CONTROL) I checked all fuses and CAN wires and I can't find any fault. has anyone ever had this problem? or can anyone help? any ideas are welcome . |

Could it be that the Oil got in a transmission module

When I try to diagnose ewm there is no communication(Vehicle not responding) I will check for the oil but about starter when I start car straight on starter the car starts with no problem

Check your front sam module if your car starts directly then could be sam....

\or the front sam unit itself - water damage
Everything can be reverse engineer as long as is build by humans, when AI comes to place ...thats a different story
