Just a little teaser, NBT / EVO is done. a little insight:

update BIN files are a simple tar-like archive that require only two files: srm.cfg and shared library which actually executes your code via callback function. Root certificate is not anymore on filesystem but embedded in binary file. Since it is x86 and ARM HexRays Decompiler does most of the work this time. More research still pending on the device, but regarding SWT/FSC that should be it and should be finalized soon testing different scenarios.

Hi all, everything worked correctly for creating fsc, signing as well as importing into CIC for E series.

I am working on a bench, I also generate a new unlock code with the fsc created, I am from Western Europe so I confirm that it works here.

If you need test car, i have one car lying around with all dead certs. The car is using NBT evo. All certs are not available but only the signature cert is accepted. Is actually a Japanese imported car into Asia. Let me know whether you need to test it.

I have problem with Validate signature in FSC Editor in Esys. I have FSC ERROR, Failed to verify the FSC signature. (C163) IOException: Ungultiges Format der Public-Key Datei.

I'm loading keys "fscs.der" in the right places and I still have this error.

Ok, but I checked this option because the certificates were rejected.



I used patcher. Everything was ok, after 10 s. navi started again.

If the "sign" option is selected, is there a message about a valid signature? When I press "sign" nothing happens. Little, empty frame flashes for a moment and nothing else.

I have two (maybe quite stuid) questions:

1. Is there any way to backup all FSCs, Certificates etc. that are now stored on my CIC before trying this tool?
2. My CIC is a retrofitted one. Do i have to code my cars VIN into the CIC? How? Or is it enought to use the patch and to write my VIN in all FSCs? I've read all pages of this thread and all pages of the FSTool thread. So maybe I've forgotten it again. There's so much information...

I would appreciate it, if anyone could help.
