Hello everyone, I'm trying to activate a retrofitted nav of my mini r56.

The used unit comes from a 2012 mini.

I have read several tutorials on the internet but I have not been able to activate yet.

The first thing I did was to change the order by adding $6FP $6NE $6NF $6NM $6UH $6VC $6UM.

Immediately after I coded with the usual technique of the empty file with ncs expert.

Together with the unit I also mounted a combox.

The next step was to change the chassis with tool32 to the 62 63 A0 control units. This was done correctly.

I took the Europe MOVE 2018-1 map and put it on a 32GB formatted FAT32 stick.

With the ICOM interface I was able to download the FSC file present in the unit using the SWID IB reader. I tried to generate an activation code for the map. unfortunately when trying to update the map the unit says that the code is not correct.




I tried to run the script in this thread. However, the unit does not restart, so I thought the software is not correct.

I tried another way. Since I do not have a d-link usb-ethernet adapter I have wired the ethernet port via the quadblock connector.

Here it gets interesting. I created a DHCP server and assigned an IP to the nav. I can access via putty via telnet without using credentials. The thing that puzzles me is that the OS is a Windows CE!



The script attached in this thread is .sh therefore for a Linux-based OS.


Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong?
