Hi. I have the same problem with my CIC , when i wake up, cic goes in crash and restart RED screen... How to correct this issue? Maybe return back unroot and try another method? How? Thank you.

What I related, was not an issue ... was the proper steps that the CIC do after plug the usb with the script activation.

My CIC was working without any problem, but the navigation wasn´t active due to it was with the donor vin, and I use the script for activate the navigation only.

Then, intel develop the CIC patcher, that allows the CIC to work with you VIN and activate all FSC, to enable apps, update maps with your own VIN without have to perform the 1b check with the fstool.

But can´t help you with your issue, as far as I am not a skilled member, i think you had a problem with your cic prior to plug the usb with the script activation.

Hey guys got problem everything went fine, maps was updated to 2017-2 but after update confirmation nav is now staying "grey"

If you want assistance with this issue, you have to read out status of your FSC inside the unit, and post your results here for us to see. You could use the awesome Dr. Gini tool available here on forums for that.

Just tested with c16, CIC reboots but nav is still disabled, logged in with putty & reverted files back to original & loaded an older script which seems to work ok.

I would have updated to .1B but didnt have a PSU available.
