When I am on 17.1.3, can I without flash use 17.8.1?
Or need to flash from 17.1.3 to 17.8.1?

Does someone have the 17.8.0 priemus NL vcds? I have 17.1.3 as software for the 17.8 cable. lol

Hi I have rl interface currently using 11.11 it came from china with, could someone please elaborate on how I accomplish upgrade of this cable to 17.8, read this entire thread multiple times, but cant for the life of me figure out how to achieve this goal, can I upgrade via usb??
how do I know if I have modified firmware?? and if so how do I proceed then?
a step by step would be great as I'm a virgin to this stuff

In your case first step is to throw away that interface because is junk (nec mcu) and buy another with Atmega162 mcu smile
