Hello friends Many thanks to Dtech for sharing. 

I own the Hex V2 17.8.1 not flash as on the images, wanting to make a diagnosis on a Touareg 1st generation (2005) the autoscan to work well (less than 10 minutes). 

After a few failures i wanted to delete its failures using "clear errors" during the end of the removal the screen of the PC became black i did not know how to do, waited a few minutes but nothing to do the screen of the PC is to remain black.

Finally i cut the contact and exit the cable of the port OBD2 After a test of starting the vehicle to start without problem on the PC, i have other softwares like VCP, Diagbox, Renolink and Wow. 

Is what is the cause of the problem? 
If you like, can you tell me what produces this black screen?

The CD was damaged and I cant use it. The dealer said that has 18.2 version.

So I don't know where I can find the compatible VCDSLoader.

It is possible to update to the latest 18.9? If yes how can I do this?

I have the same card visible on the picture above, the only difference between the 2 is the chip CAN  

Last night i installed the software Kolimer V7.2 by USB simply. First i made an obd2 cable to power the target board. I cut a cable obd2 coter male and female, with the coter i solder the solder on pins 4-5 for GND or ground and 16 for + 12V to a adapter 220V to 12V 1A. 

Find and download Kolimer V 7.2, open the files, (install drivers) choose EEWright ...? or similar and open it, plug your card into USB and OBD2 with 12V adapter. verifier and flash directly  

After you have to open another file (i do not have the name in memory) it is a file to read the chip Atmega162 to confirm the flash and you will see version 1.95. 

You must open the VCDS program to update to 1.96 so your cable will be OK for different versions. I also do the same process with a map called AES mode and success. 

Thanks and respect to Kolimer for free sharing, men like Kolimer are rare. Desolate for the english of the translator all this talks to tell you what you can without problem, the version is 0x46.

Is 1.96 with bootloader enabled.
