No wires better quality. See post 2 with amb2300 but not received yet, so I cannot say if it is as advertised. oki probably will be fake if first set of pictures (they also seem to have some boards with original oki but probably for specific customers or maybe it is a specimen with good quality oki?? see second pair of pictures). I will post pictures in 2 weeks upon receipt. Sometimes advertised pictures do not reflect the item sold, I had to return one I bought from ebay (full chip but solders and resistors missing sign of bad quality)

The bottom right oki looks better than the top right Oki and the chips are on the back of the amb2300, the connection to the plug doesn't look like the circuit board connection like the genuine dealer one but It looks like the soldered solid pins but I don't think this matters as long as they are good connections, the ones on AliExpress have the dealer type circuit board connection on the later ones to the plug but the Oki and AMB look fake,the one you've ordered as long as it's the bottom right pic looks okay? The top right pic Oki is different to the bottom right Oki?

The bottom right is genuine oki. All 4 pictures from the same seller . I have not checked amb2300 board, so that remains a question mark.

So many people get stuck on wires or no wires, while a bunch of important components are missing or wrong. Mine has wires, but with a few chips swapped to make it near perfect I could care less.

Let's hope are real deal Until you put it in your head and test it under vas-pc hardware test you can't be sure 100%. Even then if your interface does not have proper au5780 it will not test OKI chip.
Hardware tests are made "in line" mode, so if one error pops up will not go further to test for more.

im also waiting for the memory, so if i have it all i will rework the head and run tests

what about the LT3010HMS8E-5 is this needed?

@sixcode if that picture is from your real vas, you might want to look at 1977EFE that needs to be replaced with 1976 model and also around it you have one extra capacitor, i think is china bonus.

The difference between the LT1976 and LT1977 is that the fixed switching frequency of the LT1976 is 200kHz vs 500kHz for the LT1977.

The switching frequency affects: inductor size,input voltage range in continuous mode operation, efficiency,thermal loss and EMI.

Hi, I have a 5054a clone and looking at the memory the end of the memory chip numbers are different but both end in 10, one is UI10 and the other looks like TC10 does this mean they are the Better memory chips?
