And the boot pin wire you removed it from the ground before start dump? Somebody tell me that he got a corrupt dump file if wire not removed before reading.
He checked the dump file with an ori with the help of a hexdecimal editor.
What do you think about this?
What hp was your engine ? Maybe I could compare with ori file below but mine is a 406 2.0 hdi 110

Your Ktag 7.020 support sid 801A?
YES,removed..when the warning message appear put ignition off(switch), put boot pin on mass( I put it on black gnd wire),turn ignt. on(switch),after half a second to one second pud down boot pin from mass)..press OK..finally started reading..the same for writing
Mine was 90hp

I don't want to make any mistakes but i think that it supported in ktag to read write via bootmod and verify checksum please watch pictures and say what you think

Interesting, my old Ktag does not have it, I checked with your car select and also checked with protocolsNowhere SID801a

Yes i Will let you know if on my 406's friend it is a sid 801A and if it works.
Because I am learning, I saw that the ecu can be too a Bosch and I did not see the car yet. So I don't know which on is set on.
But before to make anything on a car,I phish more informations I can about the differents possibility it is so interesting.

Is it possible to use BDM100 Siemens adapter with Ktag? This adapter works with converter on FG Tech V24 as far as I know. I don(t want to buy original JR-Tag adaptor for a single use.

Hi, you can buy IOTERMINAL siemens its the best dont need open ecu, read all by obd2
