as someone did mention in another post coding a certain parameter to not active helped it slightly from rebooting more often

If you play FM instead of USB music etc it is much better when using NAV

Had to reflash after running scripts.

Uploaded ECE CAFD but still black screen. Same issue. FDL coding works fine.

Using original USA FA/VIN matching radio it won't even code at all. Removed half the fancy options including 609 etc, still getting that stupid "Service WDBI_PLAIN returned a negative response error..."

Nope and none of the region change BIN files are working either...

For me region BIN working good, just hoped for cheaper solution

The similar symptoms I had seen is that US NBT would enter transport mode when it running outside US region, this is where the black screen can from, you may light up the screen again by manually dismiss the transport mode.
Not sure if this is same situation you had encountered though.

Hi you should try setting the DVD region parameter to any area, you will not have the WDBI_PLAIN error anymore

After the firmware under ID5, the standard means to coding telematics from ATM is not possible due to the (Sanity)hardware
It can be coded not by regular means (most are not available),like everything works but other problems arise - lack of RAM, etc., as a result of this constant rebuilding of the NBTevo.
If we consider the NBTEVO line that go under ID5 (c 07/2016) For telematics another block with increased RAM is used.

If NBTEvo has already been installed on the machine from the factory and has ID4, then it's just not worth it to pour thoughtlessly. You can get a few unpleasant surprises.

 

For example, lose traffic jams and telematics , and with navigation will have to abandon the original codes

We are not talking about ID4>ID5 problem, but about US>ECE problem,
after patch it working good, so its not a HW problem
