[Question] VIM E70 without nav but TV tunner
Hello Everyone,
Its possible to enable VIM into this car? 0F70424 E70 2013 that has TV tunner but comes without nav. I dont know which is the unit. Hope someone could help me. Thanks in advance |

It is possible.
CHAMP is the unit when you have only radio, small display 6,5` CIC-MID, small display 6,5` with Navi CIC-H, big display 8,8` with Navi or TV or both together |

Because of TV there is a head unit CIC and a big display (8.8“) in this car, not a CHAMP.
VIM can be done quite easy - similar to other cars with CIC. The good news is: Retrofit of navigation is very easy with this car. You only need a GPS antenna, FSCs for the CIC and coding. No need to change head unit and display... |

I have seen that the unit does not have a navigation menu nor greyed out, like when a unit has navigation but is not active.
So its possible to activate the vim like the CIC? Thaks in advance! |

There is no menu “navigation“ because the car does not have this option. Just code the CIC with option S609, create and import FSCs and install a GPS antenna - then the car has navigation.
Concerning VIM: This can be activated as with any CIC in an E-series model. |
