5AS retrofit problems - need some help
Hi,
I have tried to code 5AS but it doesn't work, here is what I have and what I have done. Car is F13 M6 Build date 0313. I-Level is currently 15-11-xxx so Nov 2015 From Factory it is fitted with: NBT Kafas 2 LCW LDW Collision warning Surround Cameras Cruise Control with braking Driver assist control with buttons for LDW, CP, LCW, HUD. Here is what I have done: Added FSC for Pedestrian Detection to Kafas 2 (I know a guy who can supply) Removed LDW option 5AG and added 5AS. VO Coded DSC, FRM, ICM, HU-NBT, Kafas, Kombi In Kafas all 3 required FSCs are present and accepted but do show Cert Status as Not Available but this is not a problem as LDW and CP work if coded as standalone No errors are logged but I lose LDW and the button that was FCW and should now switch on Intelligent Safety does not do anything at all, LDW button also does nothing so I got a brand new Driver Assist panel and tried that but still not working. I have gone through FDL/Cafds until I went cross eyed looking for anything that could be relevant and tried all sorts but no joy. I have also tried changing the date to 0713 and coding the above modules but that caused no end of problems. I'am using latest Psdz with Esys 3.27.1 Now I am out of ideas Help |

leave VO as origin - if as you say the car has 5AT - just FDL code the pedestrian feature |

Car does not have 5AT that is Driving Assistant Plus, I added 5AS and VO coded Kafas etc

Quick bump on this, and no its not related to my used Kafas problem, that was an experiment to see if it would help with this problem.
I have my original Kafas2 with valid FScs |

The footwell module fitted covers between 09/10 to 03/17 according to etk

The new one covers all production years because HW id is latest version. Used FRMs have different HW. Driver Assist panel connected to FRM. If FRM has 12F cafd you need FRM with 106D cafd. Also have f13 M6
