Hello everyone, currently doing a EVO retrofit on my E60. I got the carsystems base adapter, got EVO ID6 with GPS from G30, screen, all is working fine but the ZBE (Controller) is not. My ZBE is from an F10 with NBT, it's ZBE3 with KCAN2, since i bought the G30 ID6 it uses KCAN4 as far as i understand. Are there any possibilities to get these two to work together, can i flash the ZBE to KCAN4? And can G30 ID6 work fine with the NBT Adapter from carsystems?

EDIT: All of this was tried on bench without the eNBT emulator, it occurred to me that my ZGW is KCAN2, so it wont work as is. I'm gonna try in car tomorrow since the adapter says it can work with ZBE3, so im guessing it can translate the KCAN communication to work correctly

CAN4 only work in G-Series (G30), not with EMULATOR, Inside EMULATOR you need CAN1 Controller I think.

I have seen people use the NBT/EVO ZBE without issues on Exx with the eNBT adapter. Even the user manual says ZBE3 is okay to use, but i'm guessing thats with F series EVO, since i have a G series EVO i need KCAN4 ZBE. My question is, is it possible to flash ZBE3 to work with KCAN4, that should fix my issue of the controller not working. Only question then is, will the eNBT adapter support KCAN4 ZBE, if not then i dont know what to do because my EVO doesnt want to work with either CIC or NBT controller as is.

F-Series or EMULATOR don’t work with CAN4.
ZBE3 with CAN2 or ZBE4 flashed to CAN2 work without problems on F-Series cars with EVO. Your problem is right connection to car or EMULATOR.

Tomorrow im gonna try in car with the emulator. I followes the carsystems user manual, but with the coding they give, on bench i get black screen. Im gonna try in car and update all.
