Pre LCI E90 CIC retrofit worked but playing DVD shows "unkwown region"
The CIC retrofit coding went well. Everything seems to be working.
I can't play DVDs though. I get an error/ warning message when I try: "unknown region" Why is that? How can I solve this?

How to do in détails to reset the counter region code
Using D-Can or ICOM (choose OBD_ab625) with Tool32: tool32 cicr STEUERN_INITIALISATION_COUNTER_REGION_CODE info: name : STEUERN_INITIALISATION_COUNTER_REGION_CODE comment : Initialise (or reinitialise) to 0 the value of the change counter for the DVD region code. result : JOB_STATUS type : string comment : "OKAY", wenn fehlerfrei result : _REQUEST type : data comment : Hex-Auftrag an SG result : _TEL_ANTWORT type : data comment : Hex-Antwort von SG To change the code region to 2, see in the left column the right line pointing about that (from memory) Post the results to help futures buddies that need to do it. |
