this is a transceiver can - on 8 pin there is a resistor from 10K to 100K.
Are you damaged? unlikely

I measure 0 ohm with VP234 desoldered. Seems wrong?

Found out that it's probably a 0-Ω resistor. Vp234 supports it (says so in the manual).

On a clone Icom A2 the ethernet connection doesn't work any more for F series models and it will give an error. On E models it works fine.
What component causes this and how can this be repaired?

Hello, I Want to buy an ICOM clone. What is best one? I Heard ICOM Next clone is Not good as clone, only Original good. So my question if is A2 clone good? And where to buy best quality ?

Hello,

Can anybody help with this please?

I am using an Icom A2 - the SYSTEM light is OFF, the Lan light is working.
When I test on 2015 F-Series, I can test everything, but cannot program anything.
I tried using the Ista D V4.15 for the programming.
I also tried an earlier version of Ista D, and everything works in diagnostics. but when
I try Ista P, nothing works.

Anybody know what is wrong when the SYSTEM light is not working?

I had this problem intermittently... then the icom a2 stopped working... now only flashes system green and i get no connection (PC only sends, receives 0 bytes thru ethernet)

Earlier... was strange... system LED was red while connected, but at least it worked!

Have tried multiple times Restore bins, cables etc...
Opened and treated with flux and heat gun...

Anyone has any idea?
