Does programming leave traces
I mean, when programming with ISTA, does ISTA leave data in the car's ECU about dealer ID, ISTA license, ICOM serial number etc.

But when you flash car with ista P, Ista P leaves a Ilevel step so you can see what version car last was treated with. |

Incorrect.
Yes it does leave some data behind, such as date of programming, dealer number, among things. Depends even more on what era the car is. |

also the device you update with ISTA or ESYS will increment one programming event number. Some, and it is very few EEProm are limited to 100 program events
