BMW F10 from CIC to NBT EVO retrofit
Hi to all
I just discovered this forum and I’m not an experienced bimmer ... I own a F10 530 dx since one year (constr. 9/2011, DP49085) and I’d like retrofit my infotainment system to the EVO with Apple CarPlay.
Which are all the options to do that?
Tx in advance

1.You need full set fsc code
2.(eNBT) Retrofit Adapter

VIM HU_MGU-instruction for esys.
BMW FSC map update/CIC/NBT/NBTevo/EntryNav(Route)
BMW FSC retrofit full set:
CIC/NBT/NBTevo id4/5/6 screen mirroring
Changing region map for EVO  id 4/5/6+FullScreen apple carplay

RE: BMW F10 from CIC to NBT EVO retrofit
Hi
faster and more convenient method, install carsystem module with optical fiber, so as not to replace zgw
this module also generates gyroscope signal as well as bypassing fsc control with vin.
As a monitor you must use a model for NBT f11 equipped with a video cable with a 12 to 8.2 V voltage reducer
Like i-drive you can leave the current one, or switch to the new can2 line and install the touch model with the TBX control unit

NBT Evo you will have to buy one equipped with a blue connector for GPS signal otherwise it needs an additional emulator for antenna signal

RE: BMW F10 from CIC to NBT EVO retrofit
As I’m not an expert and I’m lerning all the things BMW related, is there anyone who can give me a list of all what I need to buy and the references on how to do the complete job?
Moreover, can I use somehow my present monitor (CIC 10,3”)?

RE: BMW F10 from CIC to NBT EVO retrofit
You have other option than carsystem emulator, you can flash your zgw to zgw02 and rewire kcan2 from zgw to hu quadlock 9-11 pins, all of function will work except navigation gyro data ,sport display (torque and hp)and pdc button if you use carplay or screen mirror for navigation i dont need gyro data or oem navi.but before flash zgw you need update car last i-shippiment.

Yes most likely and?
Your car was made in 2011, I hope you don't go to BMW to get it serviced. There id no extra value for it. Any good independent specialist will do a better job for lower price.
Even if you still go to bmw, they still can service your car anyway.
