If you install ETK as server installation (using install_server.exe instead of setup.exe) then you have possibility to login to ASAP from ETK. And then ETK automatically reads VOs and applies them.

Sure we are capsizing the original subject, but for this last point, I tried install_server.exe instead of setup.exe from ETK ISO, but it stucks. The windows cmd is launched with an etk window, then nothing happens.

ETK does not contain VO lists for each VIN. This information is pulled from the BMW servers. This is why to get the list of options for a specific VIN you need to provide login credentials.

AOS gives an "emergency" password to be used if it can't auto login you in the disclaimer text before you connect. That account works for local ETK too. The publicly known account floating multiple places in this forum usually works too.

But where/how to input it ? it seems ask for ASAP account |

AOS account does not work for ETK. For ASAP account I think you need to be a dealer or something.

All online VIN decoders are protected by a Captcha, so impossible to parse with a autonomous program |
