Hello All,

Need some advise about cloning MEVD172
Some info about the car: E82 135i 2010-05 N55 engine

Which tool is recommended to clone the engine ecu? Ktag-Kess clones will work?
This will be my first ecu clone, then if there is any thing else that I should consider feel free to advise.

Microtronik has their Hextag/Hexprog product on sale til end of year for $450 which includes cloning licence good thru this year.

I use Ktag clone red pcb version 2.25 7.020 worked great for me...
