ICOM with DIS?
Hi,
I would like to know if anyone knows how to connect the Icom with DIS. I have an oem Icom, and it works with the Insta D and Insta P, but tried to configure it with DIS without success. I've tried to use the Bridge option for the VMware and changed to Static IP in the ICOM LAN configuration to 192.168.68.1. But without success. Thanks in advance |

RE: ICOM with DIS?
Hi e46ad,
Thanks a lot for your detailed answer, but I'm failing still somewhere. I followed what you told me, but not sure If I did it all right. Use EASYConnect and I tool Radar, > Ok Get IP from Itool, Open EasyConnect, > Ok Type = Remote > Ok IP = From ICOM in Itool > Ok Mode = Diagbuss > Ok Select ICOM Lock and click CHECK > Ok (I see in the Ip tool that it says "Reserved") VM Network editor, 192.168.68.0 Subnet 192.168.68.1 > Do I have to type this for the VMnet1 in the network editor? I can only type the Subnet IP: 192.168.68.0. Where do I have to type the other IP (192.168.68.1?) Inside the VM Image set to VMnet1 as the adpator > Ok, for all 3 Network adapter? or only the Network adapter 2 You should now see both the Green and Red Lights on esyconnect come on, > Not getting the Green and Red Lights Load INPA up you should now SEE the X2 Black Dots ready,> I don't have INPA installed, do I need it for this? This is proven to work IN DIS-GT1 with Fisters Emulation. > With this do you mean that I have to enter in the "Calibrate" menu in GT1 and edit the parameters to Fister? Do I have to use the IFHsrv32? Thanks in advance for your help |
