RE: Cannot connect to car with Esys - Enet and Icom Next
So this appears to be solved at least for ENET, not tried Icom yet

Removed Esys completely then reinstalled
Removed Ethernet adapter from Windows hardware then reinstalled
Reset Winsock
Disconnected car battery for 2 hours
Installed Wireshark to monitor comms traffic
Tried a 3rd ENET cable and monitored with Wireshark, once it was sending and receiving traffic fired up Esys and it connected Via VIN, read and save FA, read and save SVT (VCM) read and save SVT (ECU).

So far so good

So was it happening with ALL cars or only a particular car?

Don't know about other cars as I did not have access to another F series at the time, it started after using DHCP Server with my own F13, it seems that something on the PC was changed but I could not find what.
I also think that whatever happened locked out my ZGM ethernet
