Fixed it. I needed to power the device from 12v. Ocflash recognised it straight away. I tested it by erasing the firmware with Pickit2 and Ocflash does not recognise it. It also wouldn't write the firmware back to it, I had to use my Pickit 2 to do that. But all working again now.

Hello All,
Thank for you sharing Fantomel, everything works well IMO. But,i might be missing something. My current problem is whenever i restart the computer it asks me for a licence activation. I have to uninstall all the programs and reinstall them to make them works. Did you encounter this problem previously ? And also a suggestion : could it be created a oneshot installer for all the programs ? Kindly regards

As I remember for this car ( Astra J ) the v200603a EN has a bug and if I remember well this was fixed in newer version 210403b EN.
I haven't a car now to test and post a review but as soon I will have one I will do it. Any clone interface with a real/original MCU ( PIC18F458 ) will work as it should with any OP-COM software versions including the latest one. Some functions will not works because of this crack but original one has no problems. Good luck |
