Hi everyone 

A few months ago I bought an evo b210 with no signal on screen. There is no communication on the bench but this is what I was expecting when I was buying it. The problem is that after connecting to the uart, there is also no communication (the serial is connected properly, and is fully working, used many times in other headunits). Can anyone tell where is the problem on the PCB.

have you tried pinging it when connected on bench? does fan blow full speed when connected to power? or absolutely dead?

Yes, I tried and the fan doesn't work either, but the "no signal" sign pops up on the screen, also i can hear the hard drive when you unplug the quadlock, and the Evo takes about 1.6 amps when connected. So something is alive, I think the power circuit is working and emmc too.

Sounds like corrupted Jacinto side NOR flash. Not sure how to flash it via JTAG. Might be easier to desolder and program.

After starting Feature Installer and activating the code to remove Component protection, an error occurred during phase 2 of 3, after which the unit acted as if it were dead.

It does not show up in E-sys, error - no communication in Tool32 and no ping in the car or via obar.

Hi.

NBT EVO cycle restart and no comunication E-sys and Tool32.
Trying to connect via UART and see following



After boloreset can't input login/pass, no answer in console.



Any ideas ? Regards

P.S. After boloreset the fan started working and stopped cycle rebooting
