BMW F01 Bluetooth Communication Issues
Hallo all,
a friend of mine has a BMW F01 - production 14.06.2011 I-Level updated from 511-03-11 (factory) to 507-09-11. Multimedia: MX-003.004.031 Telefon: TX-003.004.031 The problem is that he has issues with speach messages and general sometimes issues with bluetooth connection to his Iphone 15 Pro. I tried to update with CIC multimedia update UPD01008 - but the headunit shows up "Software on the USB device is not up to date. Further information: www.bmw.com/update" On the BMW update page there is no update available... Ist there another update for CIC available? How can we solve the issue / update the Multimedia? Is it necessary to update the "I-Level" on the CIC Headunit? Thank you for your help! |

I think that you need o update I=Level on HU because iPhone 15 has Bluetooth 5.3 and probably this is not compatible with older units or I-Levels!

Hey, have the same issue with iPhone 15 and BMW F01 2009 with Cic, i retrofit combox in this car, all wiring done properly etc...

There is no update for cic for my car. I have 17.03.xxx i-level actual and PsdZ 4.45

Sometimes 1008 won't work and 1006 does,
