TCP port nothing to do with D-CAN

But D-CAN for diagnosis don't use PT-CAN which is for PowerTrain communication.

So I have to set "100kbps K-CAN" in dcan utility? Do I need to change anything else in EDIABAS.ini?

I used k+dcan utility 2.0 to set “500kbit/s DCAN AND PT-can” it says “done” and led on interface shuts off like it’s supposed to.

Tried COM9, no success.

Normally it is enough to install DCAN/KLINE cable with FTDI driver, set the COM port e.g. COM9 (then change it in edibias obd.ini COM9 aswell) and connect to the motorcycle with Ista+ and edibias. VIN and voltage is not displayed to me via DCAN/KLINE but ECUs are detected and errors can be cleared.

As far as I know, nothing else is needed!
If it works with cars, you only need to switch ISTA to motorcycles.

So, thank you both @Vojno and @b3dn. I finally managed to get ISTA+ to recognise my R1200RS.

Turns out that Windows messed up the FTDI driver. That was my issue all along.
I installed the k+dcan driver that the seller provided me and EasyConnect started showing voltage as green.

Also, I had to select “500kbit/s D-CAN” for my adapter, otherwise ISTA woudn't communicate with the bike.

I got 2018 S1000XR with standard/normal (rectangle) OBD plug without TFT screen and can confirm for connection ENET cable cannot be used! K-DCan cable is essential for diagnostics usign ISTA+. However what shall be used for codding then? ISTA-P? ICom? I'm lost. I need to change miles to kilometers.

I was trying with NCSExpert, but I'm missing SP-Daten for S100XR K49 (K001 chassis). The newes ones v71 (I think so) does not have them. Please help.
