2004 E60 changing steering to Servotronic from Hydraulic
I've hit a hurdle remote coding, the guys got the 2004 E60 that had hydraulic steering, he couldn't find a rack so went for a servotronic, added the wiring etc.
I've added $216, recoded the car. SGM shows servotronic but it doesn't work, ISTA shows no valve on the SGM module when you pull it up and all I get is a SGM coding error. Does anyone know if I need the later SGM module for this or do I need to update anything else for this to work? 2004 cars didn't' have Servotronic as a factory option Thanks. |

I tried going to 0305 so up one year. Would I need to code the car again as just coding the SGM had the same result

RE: 2004 E60 changing steering to Servotronic from Hydraulic
What is the part# (or ZB #) of existing SGM?
IMHO SGMs for 216/217 were different than for no-216&no-217 |
