I recall using K+DCAN cable when getting my 1B file, i see many says that you need ICOM, but i used a regular K+DCAN to USB cabel

That becouse your Cic is retrofitted isnt' it (may be without most ring)? With factory ones you need Icom.

Update. Finally I have no error when performing check fsc (1B). I reinstalled and checked Fstool but I don't understand what was my mistake. But when I tried to execute the same comand with 19 the error comes out again. I've tried only with ICOM.... I Will try with dcan

the link is still running... i tested it some minutes ago, perhaps you have to go by VPN?!

I can confirm too, it's working to update maps in script activated cic, but java 1.4.2.x is needed! Doesn't work with a higher version, i think. Just check 1B, because this FSC is rejected and it have to be accept, then update is possible with donor VIN FSC.

I couldn´t get the FSCs into my CIC with FSTool, but it work with CIC Special Utitility (which didn´t work before somehow..).

After that I did the check FSC job, and everything was working.

What´s the prodecure with FSTool? First of all deactivate FSCs ? Check Parameter, Load FSC, Activate Upgrade (or update?) and after that check fsc (for 1b, 28, 17 etc..) ? The german "How to" doesn´t really describe that

btw, I got my FSTool running with java 1.5, maybe that´s why its working 100% .. ?

This are the steps which i did:

make sure that EDIABAS is working with your Interface.

I connected via Ethernet USB Adapter to CIC (D-Link E100)

Start the "csd-start.bat" and then the "start_FSTool_v2_CarServer.bat"

press "Verbinden" to connect FSTool

In Parameter insert the following values:

Diagnoseadresse: 63
Appl.-Nr: 1B
Upgrade Index: 1
FGN: Donor VIN

thereafter go to "SWT Diente" and click "Get Status", FSTool is loading the 1B FSC and the Cert's from the CIC.

In "SWT_Daten" you can see under "Freischaltcode-Status" the FSC is rejected.

now i go to SWT Develop, activate "CHECK_FSC" and press "Ausführen"

afterwards you can see in "SWT-Daten" that the FSC is activate.

now i plug in the USB Drive with the map data and enter the FSC (20 digits) for the donor VIN and voila the cic accept the FSC and starts the installation.

why did you do the passage above?

Fs tools works also in english. just change the language in settings...

did you check only 1b? did you try with 19 or 17?

I set it because i am German,

i only check 1B FSC because my CIC is script activated, and there is no 19 or 17 FSC inside, maybe you have to check them also.

in my case, it's recommended to work via Ethernet for FSC, OBD Interface doesn't work.

I Haven't tried with E100 but i would try... Do you use easy connect to change your ediabas parameter? Could you tell me how it needs to be set?

Yes you are able to use easy connect, the cic get the ip 10.250.89.2 set your computer up to 10.250.89.x with subnet 255.0.0.0, make sure ediabas.ini contents as interface ENET with ip 10.250.89.2 port 6801, check with ping in cmd
