if you just say which are the steps to be follow with fstool to import fsc I will very grateful to you.

Finally I was able to restore my original set of fsc codes.... Ehmmm I correct my self another guy from another forum was able to do that.... but the bad news is I don't understand what did he make.

PS I modify my script in this way (to activate only $620) but this morning I tried to use it pushing the botton on the wheel and It didn't work

Yes but I need to make the script executable again... The restart of the cic wasn't enought

Has anyone been able to find non expired certificates for this FsTool program? I was trying to install/Activate an FSC code that I purchased for Sirius radio and realized the certs expired in 2012 there for FsTool will not activate the FSC.

I've just done the update of the CIC map on my E60 using this tool.
My feedback:
- CIC retrofitted from donor car, the update was done before script activation
- Standard OBD interface (K-Can cable) used, even if I have D-Link modem to connect direcly to USB port in the glowbox
- Latest available version of Java 1.5 installed --> 1.5.0.22, JRE is enought
- I followed the instuction in post #88 --> worked flawlessly
- The reboot of CIC is not needed, inserted the USB with maps once the FSC check was done.

Hi, i had installed the car server & Fstool, i've set JAVA_HOME to EC_APPS\java\jre1.5.0_22, and add path %JAVA_HOME%\bin; , but when i try to start csd-start then start_fstool_v2CarServer.bat, i still have error set JAVA_HOME... i'm using W7 64 bits. If someone know where is the fault, please give me some directions, any help will be appreciated. Thanks

the correct path is:

ECC-APPS\JavaSoft\JRE\1.4.2_06

Try installing that version of JRE in this path and keep me posted
