Hello everyone.

The BMW X6M E71 does not measure the oil level in the engine. Writes to CIC - Measurement is disabled. The replacement interval has been changed. Check the engine oil during the next maintenance.
I can't connect to the machine via NSCExpert - writes an error -
FA-Fehler COAPI-2000: Fehler in EDIABAS oder in SG-Beschreibungsdatei
BIP-0001: Zu langer Job-Parameter oder String-Register-Sugriff CAS FA-READ.

SPDaten fresh(new). The other cars are fine. NSC Expert does not work only with this machine.

ISTA is connected, everything is fine. I tried to reset the service interval of oil change, it was reset, but it didn't help. And there was nothing left on the instrument panel in the service menu, too, as if the interval had not been reset. How to solve this problem? Tell me please. I want the oil level in the engine to show.

Sounds like FA string in CAS is ruined. Why not try to read it from alternative unit? Or make FA manually.

P.S. Are you using ICOM or crap KDCAN to read this? If KDCAN could also be FA string too long (if car is EXTREMELY options rich) for crap firmware to handle...

I use ICOM. I tried to read FA from another block, too, an error.
