Does LAN LED on computer side light up when you connect this ICOM? If LAN LED is not lit that means there is NO ethernet link. Or LED is faulty. So if it is not lit on other side too that definitely means no lowest level link.
So if you tried connecting another computer and two computers LEDs are not lit that means ICOM's hardware is faulty. IMHO practically NO chance then that firmware restoration would change anything... Because that link is usually established by ethernet hardware without any participation of software. |
