RE: BMW e53 ZCS faulty
Once again, connect with NCS to car, and try read also FA. No need for discussion. If you goes negative (please also picture), then i rework in my brain about fa-zcs by E53. BTW, E53 also have facelift from 10/2003, by E46 zcs to fa made also with facelifting. This car is dated 08/2005.

RE: BMW e53 ZCS faulty
This is interesting.
So what happens if an FA is added to a vehicle with ZCS, or vice versa? Does it throw an error and no further coding possible, or does it accept both just fine? Click Thanks and Reputationif this post helped you.

RE: BMW e53 ZCS faulty
Why you d'nt connect to car instead of long discussion? Command "read" does nothing for car. Or you need for long story?
Direct answer, happens coapi error like in 1. post. NCS "Coapi **** Fehlerhaft" in german in most situatsions mean, that "dude, think what you try and pošel nahhui" or something |

RE: BMW e53 ZCS faulty
Well, the opening post apparently described a case with messed up ZCS, which it was resolved by entering correct ZCS.
To me this brings a discrepancy between your statement that this very vehicle is with FA and the fact that the entered ZCS was indeed accepted, and hence wanted to learn about the concept of entering FA or ZCS to a vehicle with mismatching data structure.
