RE: ISPI NEXT TOOL
Hey there - first of all: thank you for your effort and supporting us with that awesome tool.
I followed your instructions up to step 23 (install of update 2). I don't want to perform programming by now, so everything is fine for me. I inserted the databases i needed. So ista is starting, no problem. For the connection, I'm using an OBD-Usb cable (K+DCan). In the settings menu, I don't have any possibilities to select the correct cable. See attached picture. After some reading, i realized that i missed something. I installed BMW Standard Tools 2.12 (http://cartechnology.co.uk/showthread.php?tid=2107) and INPA 5.06 (http://cartechnology.co.uk/showthread.php?tid=2106). I checked the function of the cable - I tested reading error codes with INPA of my e90. Working fine. I applied (as far as I know) all settings for the virtual com-port and in OBD.ini, EDIABAS.ini and in windows (hardware manager, port9, ..). For the usage of ista, I perform following steps: 1. Plug-In obd cable to pc 2. Plug-In obd cable to car and start ignition 3. Start ifhsrv32 4. Start ista 5. check settings - VCI Nevertheless, the EDIABAS enty does not come up at ista. Do you have some ideas to solve that problem? |
