The red VNCI 6154A work regardless if its native Windows or VM. The key is the version of ODIS, some launchers cannot be run in VM.
I'm not familiar with hardware of the old yellow VNCI, but somewhere I read that the red one is completely different. The red VNCI works with every version of ODIS I've tried - the VAS5054 clones are not supported in latest version of ODIS. And not to mention the currrently sold VAS5054 clones are a piece of crap with missing or fake chips inside. Being tight on budget I would definitely go with red VNCI, Aliexpress is full of the for about 120 EUR. |

Ok I finally bought the VNCI red 6154 device from AliExpress. It should be here by next week. Will report back.

I have flashed many modules with this and ODIS E, Engine I have not but I don't see why not. |

vas5054 work on win 10 perfectly. Could do flash and online program too without any problems.
Only you must deactivate the drivers licence check from windows then It allow to work perfectly. I have original vas6154 but for daily use I work with vas5054 buyed from aliexpress trough bluethoot connection. Do online programming and more. Obviusly you can work with the latest versions of odis S and E but it work on the most cars. |

Some reviews on Aliexpress reported that VNCI lost communication with car while working.
I also use original VAS5054 on Win11 X64 without problems. As it is very stable, i use it just on bluetooth. If i've helped don't forget the magic buttons, thanks + rep
