Hello to all!

I have here one E92 335xi n54 and client made automatic gearbox swap to manual gearbox. By the electrics all was connected by the wiring diagram - new sensor for clutch pedal and sensor for reverse signal. No errors on diag - 205 was removed from VO and coded VTG, KOMBI and DSC, adaptation of equipment was made in ISTA in DME. Just for sure I run ISTA/P and all modules are up to date, no complaining about sw difference. So all should be ok.
Unfortunatelly we are having some issues:
-When the car fully accelerate on 3th or 4th gear DSC sometimes kicks in but nothing like little power reduce and flashing DSC icon but total power interuption for lets say half second and then if you still hold full throttle 1 sec of full power and then again 1 sec of interuption. If you turn off DSC car keeps running and accelerating fine.
-Cruise control is not accurate. For example if you go 70 kmh and set the cruise control for 70 it is cruising at 65 kmh and if you speed up to 80 by cruise control it starts to accelerate but not fluently and after few seconds cruise control error appear. Here I suspect rear differential different ratio for auto/man trans but why did it worked correctly with auto trans? I compared coding of DSC for automatic and manual transmission and it is the same.
-Xdrive system works just from 20-30kmh and more not imediatelly from start. (But here I suspect some mechanical issue on xdrive transfer box).


Car have stage 2 mod but loading original sw didn’t help.

Unfortunatelly when I made the calculation in ISTA/P with and without 205 option there is no diference in ZUSB. Actually there is SW version 7628534.

You need to change typekey also if you want to use ista-p. Keep in mind change type key doesn’t affect ista!

Use winkfp bro, manual and auto has different zusb, its not shown on istap because as the former said u need to change type key as well in some cases

manual and auto do not have different ZUSB in the MSD8X N54 US based cars variants is what decides what load tables to use you just reset variants ZUSB stays the same. however the DSC may have a different ZUSB also could be an issue since the gear ratios between auto and manual are different. did you also swap in a front diff and rear diff from a manual as well?

No diffs are the original from auto transmission. Typekey is WC71 originally. I was looking for a different typekey already but I did not find anything different than WC71. I tried in ISTA manually select the car to get the typekey (335xi e92 2008 manual) but the same result of typekey it gave me…

E061534 - VIN of car I am working on - WC71 typecode, in VO remove 205

On internet I found E062371 - american 335xi with manual, typecode WC73 - will try to make calculations in ISTA/P with this typecode and with auto and manual transmission to find out some difference in ZUSB. (I know EU - US difference will be there)

I looked in MSD81 folder is ISTA/P daten files. Unfortunatelly MSD81.ATS is empty to find out manually different ZUSB of DME unit. Same with DSC90 and DXC890 folder.
