Simulate inputs on the head unit MGU
Hey guys,
I would like to do the following and am looking forward to your help: Basically I want to close all check control messages that appear on my headunit. In addition, a certain area in the head unit should be activated. I have several ideas: 1) Deactivate all CCM's so that no CCM is displayed at all, then only a click on the controller is simulated 2) Close all CCMs by simulating a controller operation, as the bar is always set to "close" anyway 3) Query via an Ediabas job whether a CCM is in the foreground and if this is the case, a defined area is clicked on in the head unit. It is a BMW G20 with a HU_MGU or KOMBSP18, whichever is relevant. Do you have any suggestions or ideas? |

RE: Simulate inputs on the head unit MGU
Check control message came from kombi, not from mgu itself. You need disable it in kombi.

Maybe you want to tell us what ccm you want to disable? Also not sure if ccm is send over eth or can. That makes a huge difference in suppressing ccm.

I really want to switch off all ccm messages. One option would be to switch it off completely or, alternatively, the user input should be emulated so that "Close message" is pressed in the head unit. |
