Hello,

Im looking for some guidance with an old DME:
Need to diag in bench Motronic 3.3.1. its possible to connect directly or needs a gateway? of course using data link to obd cable
Dont want to fry the module

Info of dme:

0261200413 E36 325i 93

Ive been researching, and I ve found the following:

DME pin 26 Positive
DME pin 27 Negative
DME pin 56 Ignition Switch, Terminal 15
DME pin 60 Data link (Diagnostics)
DME pin 87 RxD (output)
DME pin 88 TxD (input/output)

Any advise/recommendations would be appreciated.

No , just connect the wiring according width the diagrams
