mini f60 countryman, mileage issues red dot after cluster replacement
hi all,

i have replaced the instrument cluster on mini f60 countryman.

but i have red dot on cluster.

when i start the car instrument cluster flashes up with correct mileage for a second then shows 0 and red dot.

cluster mileage on eeprom is correct.

i have reset mileage in fem in the hope that it would that it would then jump up and get rid of the red dot, but this did not happen.

i then set the miles on cluster eeprom to 0, but still the 22k miles show for a second and then 0 and red dot.

the dtcs say mileage incorrect.   but where is it picking up from.

i would like to put the miles back onto the fem but i am not sure where they are stored??

If i've helped don't forget the magic buttons, thanks + rep  yes yes

RE: mini f60 countryman, mileage issues red dot after cluster replacement
First check if the eeprom has been soldered perfectly, Secondly check the year of registration and the optional SA with esys or check if the eeprom has been changed or you have a CAN FILTER in BDC or in the KOMBI

Reset ISN 6\8hp
Remote Support
MGU Patch\Virginising\CP OFF
NCD 2.0 Sign
KAFAS\MRR\RAM Virginising
Remote Tuning Pops&Bangs\Stage1-2-3
