Hello all,

We are trying to convert a 2011 BMW 335d with DDE D73N57C0 to a manual transmission.
Cruise Control will not activate.
Our suspicion is, that the V/n ratio limit will create a cruise control deactivation condition.
Any advice or help on how to fїж that is highly welcome.

You deleted AT from FA and coded full car?
Car had Cruise control from factory? Might be enabled with coding, if you recode the car and CC is not from factory, it will be removed and needs to be enabled again

Yes, AT was removed from FA and fully recoded. CC was enabled originally. It definitely must have something to do with the DDE not wanting to activate CC due to gear ratio change.

You will need to add clutch switch with wirring,delete automatic transmission from FA,flash ECU with manual transmision software and code without automatic transmision:CAS,ECU,JBBF,KOMBI and DSC.

That's interesting. I thought everything was done through coding, but it seems you are right - there are specific flash files for MT vs AT for the DDE73.
Unfortunately, there is no MT flash file for the M57D30T2 and as far as I know, it has very specific injectors, so you can't just flash a N57 MT file on it. Is that statement incorrect?
Which ZB number would you suggest?

Are you seriously? Find the same car with MT and ask for clone Dde?

I guess this might be the best option. Probably need to build a gateway and intercept EGS message and change output shaft speed to match what it would be expecting on an automatic transmission. Otherwise, I'd need to do network management on the arduino.
But that still doesn't resolve clutch. I can do the wiring, but would the DDE with automatic transmission program look for clutch for CC?
