Focus III FL Europe 2015 TPMS new sensors learning
Hi All,
I would like to put winter wheels on Focus III FL 2015 with 4 new TPMS sensores (current ones will remains on summer wheel). I have problem with get to learning mode. I tried with 6 click of hazard button (Youtube - ST 2013) . Also tried with start/stop button procedure and brake pedal (ETIS 2012). No success ! Can anybody advice how correct procedure looks like for Focus III FL 2015 ? Maybe someone could share prodedure from ETIS for Focus mid 2015 ? Should l use IDS for learning TPMS to BCM ? Thanks for any help ! |

RE: Focus III FL Europe 2015 TPMS new sensors learning
Hello,
the new Focus has a Autolearn-Function! You simple have to reset the pressuere values in your Instrument Cluster (Setting / driver assistance / tire pressure monitoring system) and then simple drive about 20-30 minutes. The autolearning procedure will start automatically when you start driving. Thats all Hope this helped you Best Regards |

RE: Focus III FL Europe 2015 TPMS new sensors learning
Thanks for answer !
I would like to confirm, please correct me, if I undersood something wrong : 1. Put winter wheel on car with new TMPS sensors. 2. Set pressure in wheels as required. 3. Start car and start procedure which you mentioned. 4. Drive some time. So as I understand in new Focus new sensors ID number for each wheel separatly does not need to be memorised ? I was wondering why there is no pressure value on display anywhere ? Probably there is no identification of each wheel separetly. |

(22-11-2015, 16:31 PM)Joe2 Wrote: Thanks for answer ! Yep, just put the new wheels with the new TMPS sensors. Turn on Ignition and reset the tire pressure over the board computer (Setting / driver assistance / tire pressure monitoring system) To do that press and hold the left OK Button on your steering wheel until old values are reseted (You´ll see a bar running in your display). Then simply start driving for 20 to 30 minutes. In this time the auto-learning procedure will be completed. And there is no value for every single wheel. The system only detects if the pressure of one or more wheel get low (I think under 1,4bar) then it will inform you about that. But not for the specific wheel/s, only generelly . Best Regards |
