I have an E-series with a retrofited CIC. I have the FSC code for donor VIN, and I tried to update the maps. Using K+DCAN USB cable and Dr. Gini I choose "FSC E-series" I start the server, I type Ecu Addr. 63 Appli nb: 1B and I press Read VIN. I receive error and not VIN (but I get the VIN in the "CIC/NBT" menu). Then I should press "Check FSC". This is the error:

According to those in the know you can't read the 1B file with K-dcan regardless of what software you use.
Either use ICOM, ENET or ftp via the USB port in the glove box methods.

I do not want to read the 1B file with K-dcan because I already have the 1B. The issue is that the CIC is retroffited and activated by script and I cannot update the maps. I know I have to switch the certificate status from rejected to accepted with "check fsc". but something is wrong on my side
