RE: [Diagnostic] Dr.Gini - B020 - 15.01.2017
I think the real reason is because general use EEPROM cells have a limited write count (something in order of 100000). So in order not to wear it prematurely by writing it each 1km and save the lifetime of the CAS, values are updated once in a while. Earlier cars updated values in LCM like each 100km or so. So I think CAS having value less than kombi by no more than 100km is perfectly valid.

Hi Gini,
my contribution: 62E65650LY2939028 Small question: After starting over with B20 and the newley designed interface handler my "Easy connect" from BR Retrofit (the yet only tool allowing the ICOM to be configured in OBD_AB625 mode for NCS) stopped working. All options in the dropdown menu disappeared. Unfortunateley your handler doesn`t have this option or I do not know how to use it . Thanks for your work!! ASSE50 |

RE: [Diagnostic] Dr.Gini - B020 - 15.01.2017
Hi guys,
I accidently deleted my EEPROM definiton of the DCC variant in DDE... Quote:[19:43:28] Job ("D71N47C0", "LOESCHEN_DCC_VARIANTE", "") Now my DCC (Standard DCC, SA540 of E91) isn't working anymore. Does anyone have an idea how I could fix that? Is there a possibilty of restoring the definition? |

In Inpa times engine select and here times the learned variants examine and add again. Or code and test engine control unit with empty MAN.
