sorry, in your car the back pressure tube is non-removable.
it still needs to be cleaned and blown out.

From the link in the file, #8 seems to be detachable - indeed it has some part of metal and half is rubber tube.
I will check tomorrow and blow some compressed air on that.

Thank you!

Hello.

What if you have two sensors? - then you need to change #3 in your drawing #13627805152. it is an O.G. backpressure sensor.
The second sensor with a removable tube is the pressure sensor in front of the turbine. It all depends on the configuration of the car.
If there is one sensor? is the O.G. backpressure sensor.

Hello,

Indeed, there are two pressure sensors, one is connected with rubber tube (more square look) and the other one is connected with half metal, half rubber tube - on a side it has a round shape.
The one with round shape, somehow more close to front of the motor I name it backpressure sensor ...
Anyway, couple of weeks ago - I have changed also the square one and also its rubber tube - took one OEM ...
I will disconnect each of them and will look for what ista is complaining ...

Thank you,
Paul

smile))
stupid me - indeed, the pressure in the main tree ecus, dde, call up ecu functions, something something - pressure is take from the square form sensor - i have disconnected it and now the pressure is -400mbar ...
jesus maria ...
oki doki, lets see still why that behaviour ...

Thank you!

RE: BMW E83 from 2010 - 41BA error - exhaust backpressure
smile) Jesus - mounted back the old backpressure (note to self - the SQUARE form one ... ) and guess what? ... no error at all in dde. more than that, did repetitive pressure tests and the values are very close to bellow ones:
Exhaust counterpressure values:
Idle:
Highest measured value: 12.0 mbar
Maximum permissible value: 35 mbar
Rotational speed 2000 1/min:
Highest measured value: 26.0 mbar
Maximum permissible value: 75 mbar
Cutoff speed:
Highest measured value: 68.0 mbar
Maximum permissible value: 200 mbar

With engine off - it shows sometimes 4mbar, sometimes 6-7 mbars ...

Some clarifications - the round pressure sensor is connected more close to the turbo charger, the square one is connected very close to temperature sensor and lambda sensor, in front of the DPF, very close to it.

To be honest - couple of months ago I was thinking that the DPF sensors has an age and to replace all the sensors involved in DPF regeneration - the 2 pressure ones and temperature sensor - just to prevent to find them defective and then to have the regeneration stop working ...
It seems was not the best idea ... the square one seems was bad from new ...

Oki doki, thank you much for your patience and support!
Paul
