Did you check the OBD port to ensure all pins are okay and pushed back or bent?
If it’s okay and try this to find if the cable is bad..
1. Ignition ON.
2. Open ISTA connection manager.
3. Connect ESYS cable, and see how long is take it to display VIN and IP Address.

This is a gift from friend when I bought the F32. Now he’s working with Audi.
You may check with dealer.
