XZBMW  Bmw no start
Hello everyone, a bmw 525i 2007 was packed in garage for 2years and when owner came the battery was dead so he removed it to charge.now car doesnt start.it cranks the engine but no fuel at injectors.tried to diagnose using WOW i cant find any codes except throttle body not adapted.but when i try to diagnose the CAS it is failling to connect to immobiliser(no communication.please help.think

You might need to allighn DME/CAS if bensin
or DDE/CAS if diesel
because of battery goes flat, the EWS Tampering kicks in

I cant diagnose the CAS because there is no communication

If CAS crached this a problem...
you cant diagnose CAS because it is faulty, or your diagnose tool doesnt reach it

I suggest you try with another BMW diagnose tool to be sure before you conclude that CAS is faulty
Also check Fuses, wires before you change anything

Also if CAS is faulty, you wont hear the motor starting
you wont be even be able to switch on ign....

but if you have ign, startmotor turns, then there is a big chance your CAS is Alive...

Yes the motor turns and all is working fine just no fuel at injectors

Hi,
in the CAS ECU is a relais for the starter. If the starter is working on clamp 50 the CAS is awake. If no ignition or fuel is provided, the secret exchange between DME and CAS fails. So check your diagnoses software, maybe in most cases you only use the wrong protocoll or cable.
