How to make a Bench using FEM for DUMMIES
Hello!
I know many in here need to set up their, one of the easy ways is using FEM_BODY it will be as follows. +12V Ground CAN Signals Ethernet from FEM to HU (OABR) for EVO Ethernet from FEM to RJ (PC) FEM Section +12v to PIN 33 in black connector A173*3B Ground to PIN 33 in White connector A173*4B Remember to make bridge and leave it, we will get to this point later in here. Now Ethernet cable from FEM to PC. Now Your FEM is connected and can be read in Esys. Also, to be safe, I have a CAN filter (cheap chinese one) between FEM and HU to filter out VIN msgs.

What if the fem_body goes to sleep mode? how can I wake it up? When it goes to sleep mode I can't even see it on esys. fem_gateway is there, but fem_body is gone.

The fem is not responding to tool32 when it goes to sleep.... it's like the ecu has been shutdown (but fem_gw is active)

As OP said, use tool32 to set KL15 before it goes to sleep - then it won't got to sleep again!
