Language settings & vci settings get saved everytime when I close it down and open it up again. You could try extracting the testergui folder again. |

RE: Rheingold 3.42.30
Maybe somebody can help me with an issue. I installed it on my 11 inch netbook with 1366x768 resolution. I cannot scroll up/down whenever I am at the any repair page. I have scroll bar when choosing part of the car that I need information (engine, body, transmission etc.). But I don't see the scroll bar when I am actually at the information or repair page wherein preventing me from seeing the whole page.

And your Rheingold is configured to start in English 1. you have to edit your Windows registry: [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\BMWGroup\ISPI\Rheingold] "TesterGUI.Language"="fr-FR" and "TesterGUI.xVM_VCI_DefaultInterfaceType"="ediabas" 2. and edit this file ...\Rheingold\TesterGUI\bin\Release\ISTAGUI.exe.config <!-- default language for first startup --> <add key="TesterGUI.Language" value="fr-FR"/> |

Rheingold was still starting in English (first start) (18-04-2014, 07:39 AM)Gini Wrote:I modified the first key (second was already set to ediabas).(17-04-2014, 23:21 PM)Martini Wrote:(08-04-2014, 21:56 PM)beemerboy88 Wrote: Database error on startup may mean:Hum...Rheingold starts in English, I change it to fr-FR in the setup menu (as well as my interface to EDIABAS instead of icom) and everything works well (in French then)......until I close it. The next start, it switches back to English and icom. Rheingold keeps starting in English with an icom connection (even after a restart), as if it wasn't paired with the registry. I tried merging the *.reg of the Rheingold folder with the registry as well. I suspect something went quite wrong with my install and Rheingold isn't reading the registry |
