FRM3 flash with emergency
I cannot find the topic anymore, where someone asked/claimed if it is possible to recover totally dead FRM3 only with Emergency flash?
Is that really possible or what? That would save a huge amount of work. |

It's not possible. Reflash it by external programmer... that will help you.
read the corrupted dflash... as many times emulated eeprom can be recovered. |

It's impossible.
To fix frm you have to fix the corrupted MCU partition, and how it is defined in MCU. |

Even if you would be able to re-flash it somehow, it would still not recover the corrupt partition so the problem would still be there.

So I don't understand why someone succested to use emergency at all. I assume the pinpoints in PCB in FRM3 are allway in the same place. It would be nice if someone could develop jig for FRM3 makeing soldring unnecessary

Use a BDM-like frame with pins and you´re good to go, no need for soldering

4 wire solder to big solder points aint that bad. On some frm3 versions you still need to scrape off the laquer
 , no one is that busy
