I don't know mate. I retrofitted KAFAS2, ACC, LCW, auto trunk, PMA and more and have no faults in ISTA. I can't answer why it isn't working but as they are safety functions everything has to be right. It might not be the part number causing the issue but then again it could be. The ISTA fault needs to be cleared regardless. Look at the 2 attached PDF. Whilst they are similar there is a difference in that F31 LINBUS is connected to FEM and F10 has ZGW. Whilst this may not seem important the way that LINBUS signals are handled is different. F10 LINBUS in SZL but then SZL connects to ZGW over FLEXRAY. It may not seem important, but its different and how it affects the components I don't know.

Also I notice OP's car is 2013 the ICM needs to be from a later car 2014 + so requires changing.

Also I notice OP's car is 2013 the ICM needs to be from a later car 2014 + so requires changing.

That would make sense. I’m assuming because the ICM will send braking signals to the DSC. I had already retrofitted ACC to my F10 before I fitted the KAFAS2 so already had the correct part. 

If I’m not mistaken the collision/pedestrian detection will automatically brake the car if required I’ve attached the parts list for the ICM high. Part 9. Looks like more work for the OP.

Yes the ICM sends signals to DSC, because 5AS was not available pre 2014 the ICMs before that date do not have the correct functionality.

Hi, could you share the various FDL codes?  I too am in the same situation as the first post.

I cannot share the codings publicly, myself and 2 other guys spent around 3 months figuring it out and one of the others who came up with the final coding solution requested that we do not make them public. We did it on F10, F11 and F13 but the codings are very similar to F30 etc.
However if you let me have your CAFDs for ICM, DSC, HU, Kombi, Kafas and FEM I will gladly check/edit them for you
